The lamp combines bright red plastic bird legs with a black metal lampshade above the bulb and a white porcelain dish that reflects light. The lampshade and bulb can be tilted, and the porcelain dish produces a soft, indirect light while also serving as a small tray for items you want to keep in sight.The design story began in a supermarket, where Maurer was searching for decorations for his car for a wedding, perhaps an artificial stork. The storks were sold out, leaving only a pair of vivid red legs. Inspired by this, he created Bibibibi, which later became a successful gift, appeared at the Milan Design Fair, and eventually entered the collection.
