Tall Danish Mid-century Modern table lamp designed by Einar Johansen for the acknowledged stoneware manufacturer Søholm. Made circa 1960s. The glaze of the lamp has reminiscents of the Nordic light phenomenon Aurora Borealis and shifts between pale blue, purple and caramel brown. The lamp is handmarked on bottom Søholm Stentøj Denmark, stamped EJ logo (for Einar Johansen) Included is a new lamp shade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and the color is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards. The lamp is in very good vintage condition.
