Tall table lamp designed by nils kähler and made by herman a. Kähler´s ceramic workshop in denmark in the 1960s nils kähler (1906-1979) was fourth generation of the family kähler. He and his brother herman jørgen kähler, who were in charge of kähler´s ceramic workshop from 1940, brought the artistic expressions of the ceramic production into the mid-century period. the lamp foot has an incised zig-zag pattern and the glossy glaze is dark turquoise blue. A band at the top is left smooth without glazing. included is a new lampshade designed in denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and natural white color. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards. incised with the initials hak for herman a.
