A tall ceramic and brass torchiere style table lamp by Stiffel. A rare find, this circular lamp with white crackle glaze, has long been a difficult find for Stiffel lovers. The round body of the lamp is created from ceramic and is crackle glazed in white color. The ceramic body sits upon a circular satin brass base. The neck of the lamp is tall and also created from brass and has the original Stiffel label affixed to it. The switches on the body are the signature Stiffel switch. The shade on this lamp is white glass and casts it's light upwards. However, it was found with an oversize white fabric shade, which comes with this listing too. It is believed to also be by Stiffel. Stiffel lighting is well known for its high-quality metal lamps. The company has deep roots in American history. During WW II, the company opened up a division solely for the production of steel and metal bolts for the US Government. This particular piece is a rare find, as this shape is incredibly rare.
