Playing with the idea of gravity, proportion, and endurance. The relationship between shapes and space between them, creating visual tension. Using black clay as a material to push the boundaries of it’s possibilities, creating a complex structure which will undergo the shift of being fragile to sturdy, while still maintaining the delicacy. Five elements combined together, create a sculptural lighting structure. If taken apart, the objects have their individual function, which include, set of three floor or table lamps, a coffee table with glass, a stool or a side table. Ia Kutateladze is a Georgian multidisciplinary designer based in Berlin.
