Here is a special table lamp that has been custom made with a brass French fireman military helmet on a black painted wood stand. I believe the helmet is a replica of an antique, though it has incredible details and appears true to size. The lamp works great and takes a standard bulb. The helmet is secured by a wonderful brass center rod - it appears to float on display. The helmet looks great - nice and shiny brass with only light patina. There are a few "holes" in the helmet that may have held feathers or something like that. You can see one such on the front section of the "mohawk" detail and another in the back. It's a statement for sure!
