Discover a rare gem from the golden age of Swedish ceramics. This hand-painted table lamp is created by Bonnie Rehnqvist, working at the historic Törngrens Pottery in Falkenberg – one of Sweden's oldest active potteries with roots dating back to the 18th century. The lamp's ceramic base is decorated with a warm, golden motif depicting a Maya figure in profile, surrounded by stylized cacti. The colors in brown, gold, and ochre create a harmonious and earthy feel that evokes both Scandinavian wabi-sabi and Mexican folklore. The white fabric shade provides a soft light and complements the lamp's sculptural expression. A really nice lamp in warm golden tones. This lamp base is a piece of jewelry in itself and also looks very nice with just a large fine globe lamp.
