Vintage octagonal tea canister table lamp made my Chapman circa 1970s. Chinoiserie themed design with a tole canister and wood base. Each side depicts a unique scene. Makers marked retained. Chapman was a decorative lamp company that was active in Boston and dissolved in 1910. The company's archive includes photos, drawings, and a brochure that describe some of their lamps, such as the Hop-oing Lamp, Ox-eyed Daisy Lamp, and Lily-pad lamp. Height to top of finial is 29.5" Height to top of tin base is approximately 15.5"
