Purchased at auction in New Orleans in the 1980s, this “famille verte” vase style table lamp with attached wood stand/base makes a nice statement. Two panels of brightly clad court ladies in reverse patterns are on a creamy white background. The panels are outlined in applied gold and green edging. Various green flowers outlined in gold adorn the rest of the lamp. The cord is strong and works well, as does the socket. Attached to the top of the included harp is a circular brass finial. There is some age related wear on the brass cover on the top of the lamp. (Please see photos.) The lamp is in lovely vintage condition. It adorned a table in a living room with minimal use/wear.
