Vintage Frederick Cooper Birds on a Branch lamp. Unique and rare lamp made by Frederick Cooper of Chicago. Brass branch sits solidly atop a footed ebony wood base. Birds have wings up in a position of movement and have a lovely verdigris patina. Lampshade is custom by F.Cooper with a black fabric with a subtle leaf print. Lamp lets off a gorgeous glow that illuminates the birds and the brass. Has a three-way bulb setting. In perfect condition. Has four feet at base and a round brass finial. Lamp reads as light and sculptural, yet solid and elegant.
