Are you a lover of the French Provincial style lighting? If so, then make this piece of “keeper” in your home. The lamp is made of cast-iron with an overlay of cream colored finish. However, over the years, the paint on the lamp has crackled and chipped, revealing the silver underside. The lamp is in working condition. There’s a funny story I’d love to share. In the early 1990's I went to visit a friend in Atlanta, Georgia. We got the wild hair to go to auction out in the country. I bid on a set of 6, Duncan Phyfe dining chairs and two lighting fixtures, including this one listed here. To my surprise, I won the bids, but my friend had a ***small Nissan 240SX. We crammed the set of 6 dining chairs, the lighting fixtures and three people in that car! One of us had to lay on the back floor board on the way back to Atlanta! All that to say is that's why I love vintage pieces. They all have a story to tell! Please review description, dimensions and photos carefully, and if you have questions, inquire. Thanks for visiting my Finder Keepers Shops!
