A rare and imposing hollywood regency-style lamp, attributed to the house of jansen, dating from the 1970s. This lamp features an ammonoidea - cleoniceras ammonite fossil (cretaceous albian), probably from madagascar. The structure is in black lacquered wood, with rectangular gilded brass uprights, supporting an original velvet paper adjustable shade with a gilded interior. The lamp is in good condition overall, although there are a few signs of wear on the edges of the shade at the usual contact points (see photo). It works with a standard screw-in bulb (e27), compatible with e27 led bulbs, and has a switch built into the cable.
