This is a beautiful lamp from the early mid-century that has so much style and sophistication! There is just something very stately about this piece... it's very heavy and incredibly well made. You can see that the cream portion below the bulb is thicker than most lamps, and that the brass is wonderfully detailed without being over-the-top. The center of the lamp is a bronzy metal. There is some wear to the finishes, but this is a great lamp with a lot of beauty and history!
