Space age/futurist table lamp designed by Oscar Torlasco for Stilkronen (ca. 1960, Italy). Composed of an angled cube with chromed-steel cruciform/x-form surfaces each housing five optical cut beveled-glass lenses, all supported by a tripod base with orb-form feet. Corner sections each comprising three white enameled steel squares with sculptural chrome fasteners, which can individually be removed to access the interior sockets to replace bulbs. Scarcely seen model in good, original condition retaining all components - chrome has been polished, white enamel is original and shows losses, dual power switch with two illumination settings is original (plug can be changed for US use upon request).
