Stunning old Chinese stoneware urn that was converted to a lamp by Lang Levin of Chicago. Presented as a creamy taupe stoneware, across the front of the lamp traditional courtlife is depicted. Shades of green, rich royal blue and orange bring to life the scene. The design only presents itself in the front of the lamp. On the back only 3 stylized bats fly. The lamp rests upon a wood base raised on small feet. The shade is original and is made of a silk pleat with an orange accent of silk placed at top and bottom. The shade is included with this lamp.
