A fine mid century ( circa 1950's or earlier) carved figural faux cinnabar coral color lamp. Having the wonderful mastery of ancient Chinese artists with such a high quality workmanship that you can almost feel the expression on the figure with her lips and eyes very naturally rendered. Period correct designed etched brass base with an antique acorn bronze finial. Measuring an impressive 30.5 inches high all the way to the top of the finial where a lamp shade sits and 17.5 inches high the figure including it's base.
