Made in France, these lamps (model EK-1945896) were created in 1970. Architectural, post modern design. Made of solid travertine each lamp weighs about 50lbs; note estimated shipping. The European plugs have US plug adaptors added. The bulbs are bayonet style- difficult to find in standard US bulb size, so the bulbs will be included! The ones we’ve procured are LED and will last a long time As found- no shade. Bear in mind the lamp necks were made without a saddle and harp fitter, leading us to believe they were made to be shown without shades. They do look better that way, but clip on shades could be added. Lamps are not marked, but Barbier lamps are never marked. The identification is in the materials used and specific design; these have been attributed based on archival documentation, vintage catalogs, designer records, etc.
