This elegant minimalist table lamp was designed in Finland in the 1950s by Mauri Almari and produced by Idman Oy (signed). The lamp has a curved brass arm that extends from a polished brass base, with a woven rattan detail covering part of the arm, adding texture and warmth. The original dome-shaped shade is made of cream colored opaline glass, which gives off a soft, diffused light. The base features a toggle switch, and the power cord is a retro-style twisted design, typical of mid-century lighting fixtures. The blend of brass, rattan, and opaline glass gives the lamp a distinctive, elegant look that reflects the minimalist yet decorative style of the 1950s. The light has been rewired with new fabric cord and requires one E26/E27 bulb. All lighting is converted for US usage.
