Originally designed in the late 1930s by prominent Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in partnership with Louis Poulsen for the Danish Broadcasting House in Copenhagen, the VL38 Table Lamp is an evolution of the original design. With the same retro styling and softly curved, organic shade, the modern version includes an energy-efficient LED and an adjustable arm and shade to cast light exactly where it's needed. The powder-coated aluminum shade has a white interior for soft light and the stem is brushed brass. High/low/off switch on base; 10-foot cord. Includes a 2700K 9.6W LED bulb. Made in Denmark.
