If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance.Watt is a simple and elegant table lamp, created by Sylvain Dubuisson, architect and designer in 2019. Simple since it has the shape of a cylinder. Clever because the openwork of the cylinder is a unique mathematical model in which 6 turns maintain proportional velocity relationships so that the voids are triangles. The polish of the central shaft reflects the drawing of the spirals to give an anamorphic perspective and the light casts the shadows of the cuts on the plane of the table. The Watt lamp can be declined in different colors (custom-made). It is available in white, black and orange. It can work in pairs (left and right versions of the start of turns).Sylvain Dubuisson, architect and designer, was born in Bordeaux on February 20, 1946, from a family of renowned architects: he is the grandson of Emile Dubuisson, author of the belfry of Lille, and son of Jean Dubuissonwho has highly collaborated in the construction of the Maine-Montparnasse district (1958-1966) as well as the construction of the National Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions (1959-1969) in Paris. Graduated in 1973 from theSchool of Architecture of Saint-Luc in Tournai, Belgium, Sylvain Dubuisson settles independently, since 1980. Having to face the new generation of designers, inspired by street culture and comics that build the foundationsof an expressive and accessible design that carries a great power of communication, Dubuisson stands out with a very personal culture, mixing classical knowledge(mainly literary) with a taste for sciences and a fascination for hight technologies.After studying engineering, Pierre Disderot opened his first studio in 1948. His collaboration with the young avant-garde designers, Pierre Guariche, JosephAndré Motte, Alain Richard, and Michel Mortier, led him to create what is today considered to be the best lighting of the nineteen fifties. His aesthetic abilities and knowledge allowed him to design an important part of the Disderot catalog, revealing, beyond the publisher, an artist of the first-order.
