A wooden top supported by steel arches: these are the pure and essential elements of Archie table, designed by Serena Confalonieri for Medulum. The dynamic and light base is inspired by the trajectory of bouncing objects: a dance of sinuous movements that reference to the classic forms of arches. Designed for domestic environments, but also able to give a strong stylistic identity to contract projects, Archie is proposed in two versions and two color options: the table top is available in oval or round version, and in plain color or decorated with inlaid multicolor graphics that recall its structure’s concept and shapes.The solid and important wooden top lays on game of intersecting lines, creating an elegant contrast and giving the object both aesthetic and formal stability.
