The form of the Bentz table base derives from a simple profile swept along a down and up trajectory.‎ In doing so, it creates an airy and sculptural central focus with the functional characteristics of a column base.‎ The resulting surface and volume seeks hierarchy and interplay between the actual legs of the people seated across from one another.‎ The applied reflection and colour draw in and on the environment to further establish an object with placement, rather than the placement of an object.‎Table with base structure in aluminium sand-casting and tempered glass tops.‎ The base is available in polished aluminium.‎
