Caviuna Table By Joaquim Tenreiro, 1950s, Brazilian Midcentury Design

This stunning Caviúna piece was designed by Joaquim Tenreiro and produced in 1968 by one of his companies, located in Rio de Janeiro. Its simple design stands out with the subtle detail of the rectangular-shaped feet, positioned diagonally and facing the center of the tabletop.Tenreiro championed furniture that was “formally light”, as he described.
