Fossile Oval Table

The Fossil line simulates the natural processes through which plant or animal elements get imprisoned in tree resins, preserving their state and their splendor over the centuries. Encased in glass, the precious woods enhance the beauty of this material and create new meanings: the veneer becomes an object to be exhibited and preserved, losing its function of simple coating. The frame is made of black lacquered iron, glass and centuries-old olive burl coming from the Hebanon vault.
