French Directoire Style Round Table In Solid Cherry Wood, White-Cream Lacquered

This piece belongs to our DIRECTOIRE collection, which takes up the Directoire style, very famous at the end of the 18th century in France.It is remarkable for its straight, classic and timeless lines, sometimes enhanced with grooves or diamonds on the front or feet.This table is a handcrafted reproduction modernized with 1 integrated leaf under the top. The extension is of 40 cm / 15.75" wide.The top separates itself in the middle by pulling one side apart for an easy and synchronized opening of the extensions.The height under the skirt is 64 cm / 25.2"The finish is made of a blond cherry stain for the top and the extension + 3 layers of white-cream lacquer for the skirt and the feet + a mole grey lacquer for the diamonds on the the feet with a satin varnish.
