Oculus Centre Table By Raka Studio, Bent Wood

The Oculus centre table is designed using the ancient Japanese technique of wood bending. At Raka Studio we create designs using this technique which are fluid in their form and are coherent with the laws of nature. The base design is constantly in motion and there are no straight edges, one extension seamlessly emerges from the other as if it were a branch growing out of a trunk.The base which also balances the whole structure holds the glass top from multiple points. The Motus console is a limited edition piece and can be customized in dimensions and different stain finishes.
