These 1 oz. clear portion cups are made from Polylactic Acid (PLA), a compostable resin derived from corn. Certified compostable by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI), these cups are designed to compost within 180 days in commercial composting facilities (availability may vary). Ideal for cold foods, sauces, seasonings, and samples, these cups are suitable for refrigeration, freezing, delivery, and takeout. Lids are sold separately. Store out of direct sunlight to prevent melting, as PLA begins to melt at 105°F.
