Zeus Noto Space Age Sculptural Table Trolley Shelving Italy New

The Hotel Zeus TV stand is a design of Ron Arad - a postmodern-Memphis style masterpiece. It was manufactured by Zeus Noto in Italy in 1992. Ron Arad exhibited at many major museums and galleries throughout the world and his work is considered definitive within public collections of contemporary design, including those at the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Metropolitan Museum of Art, N.Y; Victoria & Albert Museum, London and the Vitra Design Museum, among many others. The conical steel metal base is mounted on invisible casters and glides smoothly and easily. The prongs of the platform are wrapped in soft foam, while the conical base hides caster wheels for easy movement. The entire trolley is made of power coated black metal. Could also be transformed into a display table with the addition of a top (glass or rubber would stay put on the foam rubber covers of the prongs). Would be an amazing display for an art sculpture, art book, a vase or a plant stand. Can also use as shelving for oversized books. One could also easily put together a contraption to allow modern thin screen TV's to work with this piece - in fact, the modern version of this has been reengineered to do so.
