An outstanding antique soft paste porcelain plate by Sèvres of France All hand painted floral groupings up front, surrounded by a basket weave molded border Cobalt blue inner and outer encirclings, accented with Gilt Gilt scalloped rim edge Marked on the underside with a handwritten underglaze red/magenta "Crossed L's" or "Double Louis" Sèvres mark Cursive lettering under it - V T Due to there being no date letter mark inside the Crossed L's, the piece can be dated to the 1751-1753 period; The V T initials are of the artist who painted it A fully authentic and original period soft paste Sèvres plate, not a copycat piece!
