Late 19thC English ironstone from Johnson Brothers of Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. Uniquely shaped -- two sides straight with smooth sloped surface, two scalloped curves with a fluted surface. White center surrounded with sprays of blue, pink, and yellow flowers. Perfect to serve sorbet, sauces, or fruit. Bear the Johnson Brothers "Royal Warrant" mark, designating them as purveyors to the Royal Household. Very good condition, no chips, no cracks; crazing, minor stains, & edge roughness.
