Gorgeous Turkish Kutahya plate dating from the mid 19th century. This is highly collectectable pottery, produced in a a town close to Iznik. It is similar to Iznik pottery, with characteristic bright colors, but also with the use of yellows and browns that are not usually seen in Iznik pottery. Turkish Iznik and Kutahya pottery dating from this period is highly collectable, and slightly older pieces can be found in museums around the world.
