Antique early 19th century English Regency porcelain saucer dish decorated with a transfer image in puce / purple by Adam Buck with a finely gilt rim on a bright white ground. Circa 1810. Measure 5 1/2" diameter x 1 1/8" tall. Good condition. Adam Buck (1759 - 1833) was an Irish neoclassical portraitist and miniature painter and engraver principally active in Dublin and London. Buck captures the domestic world of Jane Austen's age.
