Antique Wedgwood Ice Bucket

Lovely English Wedgwood Jasperware ceramic and silverplate biscuit barrel. These are more commonly used today as ice buckets. With handle up, 8.75"H. This is an older piece, as the clay underneath is white and the blue glaze is "dipped on" (hence the name dip glazed). The silver-plating is polished to a fine satin patina. Maker's mark on underside.
