The Barre serving Platter is beautifully contemporary. The asymmetrical wave in its shape is functional, yet whimsical, making it a favorite for serving. At Simon Pearce, fine glassware is still hand-blown in the traditional style. Simon Pearce opened his first glassblowing shop in 1971 in Kilkenny, Ireland. Ten years later, the factory was moved to Quechee, Vermont, where it remains today. The Ottauquechee River provides clean, hydroelectric power for the facility.
