Beachstone Sand Serving Platter

Inspired by the sedimentary rock Beachstones found along the shores of Lake Champlain, our master potters aimed to capture the look of 450-million-year-old Iberville shale and its mineral calcite white stripes in clay. We added a food-safe finish to this hand-shaped platter to make it even more gorgeously versatile on your table. At Simon Pearce, fine glassware is still hand-blown in the traditional style. Simon Pearce opened his first glassblowing shop in 1971 in Kilkenny, Ireland. Ten years later, the factory was moved to Quechee, Vermont, where it remains today. The Ottauquechee River provides clean, hydroelectric power for the facility. All Simon Pearce items are proudly made in the U.S.A.
