We’ve channeled the earthy spirit of Burlington with a collection of freehand pinch-pot designs. Each piece is alive with mottled, tactile uniqueness – including this high-sided cereal bowl. The organic drip technique of our Pool glaze nods to modern art with a deep blue hue emanating from the edges. These truly one-of-a-kind pieces add a pop of color to existing Burlington pottery, or make a bold statement on their own. At Simon Pearce, fine glassware is still hand-blown in the traditional style. Simon Pearce opened his first glassblowing shop in 1971 in Kilkenny, Ireland. Ten years later, the factory was moved to Quechee, Vermont, where it remains today. The Ottauquechee River provides clean, hydroelectric power for the facility.
