C-18 Chinese Export Tobacco Leaf Platter

Antique Chinese Quing Dynasty porcelain platter painted in vivid Famille rose enamels in classic Tobacco Leaf Style. Made circa 1770, Tobacco Leaf, was one of the most prized of Chinese Export patterns. Painted with a colorful and warm spring scene of tobacco blossoms and overlapping arrangements of tobacco leaves. This pattern has been reproduced over the years, this is an original piece. As would be expected for this type of pottery, there is not a maker's mark.
