Diplomatic Eagle Pitcher 7.25"

The items were designed by Mottahedeh expressly for diplomatic reception rooms of the Department of State and the White House. They may also be found in many embassies around the world. The designs are adapted from Chinese export porcelain, circa 1810, bearing one of the earliest depictions of the American Eagle found in ceramic decoration. A favorite with brides, Mottahedeh specializes in luxurious patterns and unique, elegant shapes that are reproduced from china found in museums and historical societies. The patterns feature complex and vibrant colors, and hand-painted gold decoration. The pieces are surprisingly fresh and timely, and look wonderful in both contemporary and traditional dining rooms.
