An oval serving platter in the Marigold pattern, made by Homer Laughlin circa 1940. The rich ivory body has a gilt lined oval edge, embossed with a scalloped shape inset with marigolds. The rim is decorated with floral sprays in pink, orange, yellow, green and blue, with an inner border of gilt scrolls. Marked underneath “Homer Laughlin Made in the USA����.
