Japanese Yunomi Tea Cup Raku Ceramic Black Band

Yunomi is the taller tea cup, compared to the Chawan ( that has a usage during the tea ceremony ), which has a more formal everyday tea-drinking use. The Japanese design is elegant and exalted by the raku firing technique that enhances the surface with crackles and darker dots on the white ceramic. A series of engraved lines give a rough feeling compared to the rest of the cup, providing a pleasant sensation to the touch.
