Handcrafted using traditional methods, this plate is decorated by hand with a "pavoncella" peacock, a Sardinian age-old symbol of peace, originally adorning ancient Sardinian chests. The bird is depicted with stylistic expressiveness using the graffito method, whereby Cerasarda's artisans scratch the terracotta with enamels for a singular sculptural object of stunning allure.
