This is a vintage Stangl Pottery matching tea cup saucer (also works as a plate) in the Pink Thistle pattern. This pattern was produced by Stangl Pottery from 1951 to 1978. The design features hand-painted pink thistle flowers and green leaves on a white earthenware glaze. The underneath of the plate is a terracotta brown color. This is a stunning set which can also be displayed on a kitchen shelf for aesthetics. It is very beautifully made and the pottery has depth of character.
