Moomin Arabia’s Holiday Rush plate is the seasonal Moomin mug for summer 2026, featuring an illustration of the Moomin family preparing for a luxurious holiday on the French Riviera – each packing their luggage in their own distinctive way. The artwork is based on Tove Jansson’s comic strips Moomin on the Riviera (1955) and Moomin Under Sail (1959), with some elements in the collection also inspired by Moomin and the Comet (1958). The inside of the plate is decorated with a small note reflecting the Moomins’ welcoming spirit, reading: “The key is under the window-sill!” Moomin Arabia’s summer collection is released each year at the beginning of summer and is available for a limited time only. Inspired by the summery atmosphere of Moominvalley, these products feature cheerful characters drawn from Tove Jansson’s original illustrations. The Moomin dishware uses Kaj Franck’s Teema series, celebrated for its timeless and practical design.
