See, in Finnish, "omppu" is a playful word for apple, and "Omppo" echoes that same light-hearted spirit. Tuominen found her inspiration in the delightfully wonky apples growing in her cottage garden, capturing their lively forms through a collage-style pattern cut and composed from colorful papers. Naturally, the Omppo plate is a perfect choice for serving apple slices and other fruits, but it works just as beautifully as an appetizer plate or a small dinner plate.
