Marimekko’s Piccolo cup is decorated with a striped pattern designed by Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi in 1953, with stripes painted in free brush strokes. The pattern is best known for the legendary Jokapoika shirt, one of Marimekko’s most famous products. The ceramic Piccolo espresso cup is part of the Oiva tableware range, designed by Sami Ruotsalainen, and is easily combinable with monochrome dishware as well as other Marimekko patterns. The cup comes with a matching saucer.
