This mark dates the last quarter 18th century. An elaborately pierced base. The open trellis cover is fabulous and features a flower head finial. This pierced cover suits not only the basket bur also the base. The basket has a stylish dual rope twist handles. This ectremely rare 18th century Wedgwood Masterpiece is a classic from the master potter Josiah Wedgwood. An impressive collectors item, a statement of English taste and design. Condition: Rim 3cm professional restored and not visible with the bare eye, stand has a scratch in the glaze which is covered by the basket.
