Extremely rare set of 8 antique Creil et Montereau “Muguet” Lily of the Valley plates, France, early 19th century. Decorated with hand-painted blossoms and raised relief borders, each piece shows the artistry of one of France’s foremost faience factories, renowned for refined earthenwares from the late 18th century onward. A prized pattern for collectors and rarely found in service sets. Each bears the impressed mark. Minor age-related flaws consistent with use.
