The Sill Cupboard from Ferm Living takes its name from the French word sillon, referencing the carved grooves that pattern its doors in vertical lines. These shallow channels create a tactile surface that transforms flat panels into something more dimensional, adding rhythm through the repetition of narrow ridges. The top surface features raised edges on three sides, creating a usable ledge for display or storage. Constructed from FSC Mix certified oak veneer over an MDF core, the piece offers enclosed storage behind its grooved doors, while the lip above keeps smaller items from sliding off.
