Iittala’s Teema starter set makes a great gift for weddings and housewarming parties. The set contains 4 large plates (26 cm), 4 smaller plates (21 cm), 4 deep plates (21 cm) and 4 bowls (15 cm). The Teema tableware collection, designed by Kaj Franck, features a minimalist design based on three basic forms: square, rectangle and circle. Franck’s aim was to create simple and functional plates, with color as their only adornment. The minimalist plates suit both everyday use and festive dinners. The tableware was first manufactured under the name Kilta in 1953–1975, and in 1981 it was renamed Teema.
