Wildflower Blue Bowls Terra cotta pottery has been a favorite in the kitchen for 10,000 years. Today, our potters still build timeless functional works from the durable clay with a contemporary style. Made in Oregon, each bowl is shaped by hand, intricately painted by hand with multiple underglazes, provided with a durable lead-free clear glaze, and fired multiple times for a strong, permanent finish. Inspired by the renowned Delft styles of 16th-century Dutch ceramic artists, the Wildflower Blue motif features vibrant blue wildflowers hand-painted atop a pure white background. With its clean, glossy glaze and modern polka-dots, the design combines contemporary styling with old world charm. Heavy and substantial, the serving bowl set includes one 10.5" bowl and one 7.75" bowl, both versatile serving sizes for a variety of meals, sides, or snacks. The bowls are lead-free, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and oven safe. Note: Each bowl is made one-at-a-time. Due to the completely handmade nature of this item, slight variations in the bowl shape and pattern may occur. ~ Made in the USA ~ large bowl: approx. 10.5" diameter x 3.25" high ; 44 fluid ounce volume small bowl: approx. 7.75" diameter x 2.75" high ; 22 fluid ounce volume weight: approx. 4.5 lbs. materials: terra cotta pottery Note : Terra Cotta pottery is safe for the oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top.
